WORLD’S LARGEST PRACTICAL CLASS ON SCIENCE AND ICT

Bangladesh make a Guinness book world record by holding the world’s largest practical class on science and ICT affairs, involving over 3,200 school children, with an aim to attract them to study science, at Nurunnahar Girls’ Pilot High School playground at Kuliarchar upazila in Kishoreganj, in Dhaka Bangladesh on January 11, 2017.

The eminent science fiction author and physicist Prof Muhammed Zafar Iqbal of Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) conducted the practical class along with 30 teachers from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

A total of 21 LCD monitors were installed for the practical class. Eighty other ICT and science teachers of different schools of Kuliarchar assisted him in achieving this Guinness Book of World Records.

Kuilarchar upazila administration arranged the class to spread the knowledge of science among schoolchildren.
